The course has two online prerequisite components; the Safety in Acupuncture and Dry Needling (Safety in ADN) course written and presented by Leigh McCutcheon, Paula Yacoub- Raymond and associates, and the Dry Needling Physiotherapy Level 1 Part A, written and presented by Dr Jane Rooney and Dr Peter Selvaratnam.

PART B - SINGAPORE

Dry Needling Physiotherapy Level 1 Part B is a two-day course, which is predominantly practical but does include clinical reasoning in dry needling applications. It includes assessment and dry needling of the cervical and lumbar regions, upper and lower limbs, including safe dry needling of the upper trapezius, thoracic and quadratus lumborum regions.

The course is open to all Physiotherapists- including those practising general Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy, Physiotherapy for Pain conditions, Women’s Health, Neurological Physiotherapy, Emergency Physiotherapy, and Gerontology to name a few special interest groups.

This course is suitable for both Physiotherapists moving into this area of practice and as CPD for experienced practitioners and as an adjunct to Physiotherapy treatments and rehabilitation programmes.
